Dry Bones Revival of Toledo Ohio!
Dry Bones Revival is a Toledo-based band bringing you the best partying music of the Baby Boomer era with our 200+ years of collective music performance experience. We play mostly in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan but have been known to travel to Cleveland OH, Ft. Wayne IN, Cincinnati OH, Jackson MI, Adrian MI, Ann Arbor MI, and other such locations occasionally. During the upcoming 2007-2008 winter months we might even run off to Florida or Mexico with some newfound connections we've made!
The music we perform for you ranges from old country like Hank Sr. and Johnny Cash, new style country like Travis and Hank Jr., to jam rock like Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Skynyrd, guitar blues-rock like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Robert Cray, through favorites by Jimmy Buffet, Delbert McClinton, Bob Dylan, and Van Morrison, to many other artists you don't hear on the radio every day (Root Boy Slim? The Frogman?) but you will likely remember them from your favorite times of life. Our kind of music is well-renowned with all generations. We draw a large following of wiggling, jiggling, dance-crazy, energy drink saturated, pierced and tatted college kids with well-defined tastes in select genres of music. as well as listeners of every social status and age group. All ages may dance on the tables in yacht shorts or leathers, or they may just eat dinner quietly on their tables and clap in appreciation. Infants to Geezers - everybody loves Dry Bones Revival!
We also play every kind and size of venue. It's not uncommon to see us at someone's backyard birthday party, a Friday night at the Toledo Museum of Art, a party at a motorcycle clubhouse, a wedding reception, a night of country dancing at an Eagle's Club, an outdoor concert as a warmup band for a national act at the river in downtown Toledo, then a small neighborhood bar and grill in a tiny town. Our songlist and equipment are ultimately versatile to fit just about any situation except a symphony or opera - but Bobby May would even try playing for that if he could!

During the week you can see our fearless leader and band jokester, Bobby May, as he plays acoustically alone, as a duo, and as a trio with a variety of different players. You will find them listed in various newspapers as Bobby May, The Bobby May Trio, Bobby & Frank, Bobby & John, and other such things. Bobby and his crew normally play on other nights of the week that are not Friday-Saturday weekends, and sometimes every night of the week depending on the season. The one common factor will be "Bobby" because he is permanently recorded in Toledo memories as THE "Bobby" of this region. Whenever you're standing in the middle of the intersection of Alexis and Secor just scream "BOBBY!" as loud as you can and he probably won't come out and get you because he's at home thinking of new jokes to tell or playing guitar somewhere.
